the ring

De viaje..a journey of two become one.. Our pilgrimage to a sacred place called marriage. Though we may haven't gone that far..at least we already set a few steps to make that happen.

One of a few steps that I had made.. maybe.. accumulating the courage to propose her..well..talk to her father to be exact.. :p and guess what..that's gonna happen this month! :)

And we were thinking that this is the time to get the rings. Since the trends of gold price is rapidly increasing, we found that it won't harmed us to get it  earlier.

At last we got our rings..a pair of simple designed white gold rings, decorated with a couple of diamonds in each ring.. Sounds pretty fancy huh? Well not really.. It really doesn't matter for me.. Personally.. I would probably just give her a woven plants ring decorated with a tiny flower..just like the one Ben Affleck gave to Liv Tyler in Armageddon before he left for a mission to save the world.. Unfortunately..I can't and I'm not on a mission to save the earth from some asteroids..:p

Despite of me not really care what the rings should be..my mom insist me to go with the diamond rings. It is believed to raise dignity, bring good luck and many good things. I hope you right mom..:)

By a couple of weeks.. Our first milestone of this De Viaje would be reached, and keep moving forward until we get ourselves to that sacred place..
